INTRODUCTION

The early childhood environment and behaviour forms up a base for the relationship that an individual going to have in its adulthood or adolescence. The attachment within a child is refers to as a biological instinct where the proximity to attachment figure get sought as child started developing sense or perceives discomfort or threat. The children develop several pattern of attachment which is based on interaction and experiences with their caregiver at very young age (Elicker, England and Sroufe, 2016). This form up a base for their future relationship in adolescence and adulthood as in early childhood a child started developing its mind toward a kind of person they prefer to maintain a relationship with them.  As a result of which people develop a preferable characteristics or nature they want within an individual as well as relationship which they share with them. In order to study it effectively a critically evaluation will be made over “the evidence that early childhood attachment has an influence in the formation of relationships in the period of adolescence and adulthood”. This topic concentrate over the fact that what are the basic factor that get developed or perceived by the children in their early childhood regarding the manner in which a relations get build up and a kind of attachment that each relationship have (Guarnieri, Smorti and Tani, 2015). This in turn further support in determine the influence that childhood attachment and sense of relationship have over the  development of relationship that get mainly formed at the time of adolescence and adulthood.

MAIN BODY

As per the thoughts of Virgina L. Colin, the early infant attachment can't be overstated as it plays a significant role in developing a heart of healthy child development and also lays the foundation for future relationship. It also have a influence over the parent's ability for nurture and be responsive to their children. This brings up long term influence over the generations of families. The attachments that a children develop are divided into two parts that are secure attachment and anxious attachments. Among them the secure adolescence and adults mainly express their most important love within relationship as friendly, happy and trusting,. As a result of which their relations remains lasted for longer. But on the other side the avoidant adolescence or adults have the difficulty in building, maintaining intimate and enjoying relationship. They are mainly explained as “distant” with few close friends as well as having long term love relationships and this relationship is also tinged with jealousy and fear. These factors have a huge influence over the relationship of the people in their future. Worried for assignment help? Take help from our experts!

But on the other side as per the information presented by Merve Çıkılı Uytun, Didem Behice Öztop, ErtuÄŸrul EÅŸel, 2013, the attachment behaviour started getting develop within an individual at the time of infancy and then continues with its influence all lifelong. During this period the attachment get developed  among the primary caregiver i.e. mother and  baby which inclined toward the peer at the time of puberty period. When these get reach to their adulthood, the partners with whom they have an emotional sort of relation remains at the first place. When these attachment patterns get continue without any sort of basic changes then it brings up a huge influence over the several areas such as professional relationship, personal and social life, stress control, cognitive development, physiological and psychological health (Farley and Kim-Spoon, 2014). The people who become able to develop a safe attachment at the time of infancy become able to establish a healthier relationship at the time of their adolescence and adulthood and be able to deal with  the problems in their life much effectively and experience less issues.

In continuation to this the McConnell, M., and Moss, E. (2011) has presented their view that a person learn to maintain a relationship from the very beginning of their life. As during the first year of their life there remains a critical development of issues where the formation of attachment bond get developed between the infant and his/her mother as she provide much care to them as well as make them introduce with the reactions they must exert over a particular situation. As the time passes the infant started developing an internal working model which is based on the interactions with the caregiver. This internal working model is developed as set of rules that are used by a child in term of predicting their future behaviour and kind of interaction they hold over the social relationship (Black and et. al., 2017). This is because it help in forming up the attachment pattern of adults which get build up over the childhood experiences as well as significantly affects the ability to form up the new attachment relationship. By further evaluating the study it has been identified that the kind of behaviour a child experience in their early days have a huge influence in forming up the base for the frequency of involvement of an individual in their relationship as well as kind of behaviour they get, as it help in forming up  the character of human being.Take essay help from our experts to get better grades.

But on the other hand, as per the information presented by the Hazan, C., & Shaver, P. (1987), attachment mainly grows from  the behaviour that get developed in the infants from their closeness to their parents. This in further contribute toward forming up the relations at the time of their adulthood. It act as a biosocial process through which the affection bond among the people get formed among the adult lovers just like the affection bond that get formed between the infant and their parents in the early stage of child. The love, care and affection that an infant feel from their mother at the time of their early childhood build up a mental model in them which develops the actual meaning of relationship among the people (Gross and McIlveen, 2016). This in turn help them in forming the relationship at the time of their adulthood or adolescence. Under this when a person at the time of their adolescence or adulthood meet with a person provide same affection, love or care then they started developing their bond with such people as they get same behaviour or care as they get from the mother at the time of infant.

Despite of all this, according to the view point of Hamilton, C. E. 2000, that attachment which a person learn from the beginning of their life remains stable throughout the life. The infant through their development of attachment relationship forms up a kind of internal working model of themselves as well as social world. Although the changes in this internal working model is possible, as over the course of early childhood their remains less flexibility in term of internal working model and remains less susceptible to changes. An alternative model put more emphasis toward the environmental support for the attachment and stability within framework rests over the notion which environment tend to be relatively stable and maintains a continuity of attachment within maintained environment instead of a person characteristics (Schindler and Bröning, 2015). But the main factors which influence the changes within the attachment mainly includes the disruption among the caregiver child relationship due to the separation or loss among people, general family stressors which reduce or affect the care giver ability.

As per the information presented by the Dykas, M. J. and Cassidy, J. (2011), that throughout the life span, individual remains differ in term of processing the information within their social environment. This social information mainly related with the parents, romantic partners or peers as it get proceed with the varying degrees of positivity, objectivity or accuracy. These pattern an individual adopt in order to access the information access have a direct influence over the development of an individual as it have a huge impact over  the individuals' emotional and social adaptation in term of their relationship. For this the theory of Bowlby has been consider which state about the importance of attachment experiences and explains about the experience based mental representations in term of attachment relationship by forming up an internal working model (Zilberstein, 2014). This develop a basic method of processing the social information which a person learn at their early stage of life and continue to gain from their present environment which support them in forming up a relation at their adolescence and adulthood at the time. CONCLUSION

From the above mentioned information it can be summarised that the early childhood stage of a person forms up a base for the relationship that a person going to be form at their adulthood or adolescence time period. This is so because at the time of infant stage they came in contact with the actual relationship and emotions that one exert within a particular relationship. This in turn form up a system of understanding among people in term of their own definition to a relations. Hence, this in turn develop a base to kind of relationship that a particular person likely to have at the time of their adulthood or adolescence.
