This assignment revolves around analysing and planning of activities and efforts which lead to promoting better living environment for adults.

TASK 1

1.1 Reviewing current theoretical approaches

The residential care homes are formulated to fulfil distinct needs of adults with institutional care. The theory of Wolfesberger (1975), determined some of the negative feature of mega residential cares where as Judd (1997) focused on identification of features which are indispensable in such a care environment.

1.2 Impact of legal and regulatory requirement on living environment

The legal and regulatory practices help in forming a safe environment which encourage treatment of clients with dignity. Any misconduct which has been carried out service provider will be thoroughly investigated.

1.3 Reviewing balance between safety and security and freedom

For the purpose of reviewing tool of risk assessment is undertaken (Xiao, Chatterjee and Kim, 2014). This tool will help in identifying behaviour which are prone to illness and injury which are prevented and behaviours which are safe are encouraged by the service providers.

A manager working with care home is responsible for for making sure that activities which are most suitable are implemented. The plan is to make attempts to identify service requirements of clients and simultaneously countering with challenging behaviour with right approach.

2.3 Developing system for improved decision making

While undertaking decisions it is essential to treat clients as the nucleus so that their requirement are fulfilled (Friedmann and et. al., 2015). It is essential to form health personalisation approaches so that individual in care setting are catered with necessary support by designing services which encourage the same.

The task of reviewing is handed over to the manager in care homes. The tool of feedback can be emphasized and are to be gathered from stakeholders of this institution so that changes in the existing system could be identified.

While working in group every individual needs to cooperate each other and behave in a friendly and proper manner. They should share knowledge and opinion with every single person who works in their team as well as try to resolve conflicts as much as possible. This process will lead to promote high positivism in a group.

3.2 Review on group activities for promoting positive outcomes

Working in group help individual to enhance their abilities and skills in a particular field. Activities involve in group boost morale and confidence of each person and motivates them to gain success as well (Henning-Smith, 2016).

3.3 Role of individuals on maintaining and developing relationship

Relationship are the essential part of lives which generates interdependent state of dependence among people. While working in group individual will be in state of interacting with other staff. This will help in developing the relationship as well as reducing the potential of isolation.

3.4 Demonstration on effective approaches to resolve conflicts

When people of different culture work in a team then they have possessed different skills which will generate potential of conflicts among them. Therefore, in order to resolve conflicts group leader can use some effective approaches like competing, accommodating, avoiding, collaborating and compromising.

TASK 4

4.1 Evaluate effect of working schedules on a group living environment

Group leader is required to identify needs of every individual as well as fulfil them accordingly. When needs of each person are fulfilled in a proper manner then they will contribute their efforts in a proper manner to accomplish a task.

4.2 Recommendation

In order to ensure effectiveness of working pattern, group leaders need to review the system on regular basis (Molster and et. al., 2016). For this process, they are required to observe performance of each individual as well as measure their weaknesses and strengths accordingly. Along with this, discuss them about changes in working structure also.

4.3 A workforce development plan

According to change in working pattern and system, managers or leaders of group are required to recruit qualified staff. According to change management, managers should provide effective training to workers also so that they work in a desired manner.

4.4 Developing positive relationship

For developing a workforce development plan, it is important for manager to define satisfactory staffing in business organization. With the help of this they workers as well as team members easily perform their task in a team and maintain positive relation.

4.5 Method to raise staff awareness

Staff awareness is more important for every business organization in which manager should be train as well as coordinate all the staff members at workplace. In this use of effective method is important for raise better awareness of the staff which may leads in maintaining better relation with other workers at workplace in most effective manner.

4.6 Effectiveness of resource management in maintaining positivism

Resource management is one of the important activity for every business organization to manage as well as coordinate all the staff members to attain positive results (Hanna-Attisha and et. al., 2016). In this manager have to provide better direction to workers to use all the available resources to make positive relation with all the staff members.

From this report it has suggested that an individual cannot live alone and work as well. Person should try to work in a group which will reduce feeling of isolation as well. Working in group enhances good life of adults as well as help in making relationship with others.
