The disease predisposes person suffering from this to widespread cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas and human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. The sufferer sprouts red and brown growths that look like wood on different parts of the body. Unfortunately, there is no cure for it yet.

Lymphatic Filariasis

Lymphatic Filariasis is a tropical and parasitic disease which is commonly known as elephantiasis. It is caused by parasitic and thread-like worms which are known as filarial worms and affect the lymph vessels and lymph nodes. It spreads from person to person via mosquitoes. This is very painful and the only way to treat this is through antibiotics.

Polydactylism

Also known by the name Polydactyly or Hyperdactyly, this disease is a congenital physical anomaly in dogs, humans, and cats having supernumerary fingers or toes. It is one of the most common weirdest diseases occurring these days as approximately 1 in 500 children is born with it. In rare case, the extra fingers or toes do not have bone in them which leads to the need of surgical operation in order to remove them.

Cotard's Delusion

A very rare disease which was founded by Jules Cotard. This is strange as it makes the afflicted ones believe that they've died. There are three stages of this, namely Germination (depression and hypochondria), Blooming (delusions of negation and full development), and Chronic (severe delusions and chronic depression). Treatment of this odd condition is through drugs and hemodialysis.

Hypertrichosis

Werewolf Syndrome or Hypertrichosis is a strange but painless and non-life threatening disease which causes abnormal growth of hair over the body. It can be either congenital (present at birth) or acquired later in life. One version of this condition causes hair to grow in a localized area, while the other makes your entire body covered with hair.
