Habitat 67 (Montreal, Canada)

Located in Montreal, Quebec, Habitat 67 is a brainchild of the famous  Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. Unlike other residential complexes, the building breaks the traditional form of orthogonal high rises as each apartment steps back from its immediate neighbour. The Torre Galatea Figueras (Spain)

This museum is not just famous for its beautiful architecture but also for being the burial place of the Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali. The painter lived there until his death. In the 19th century, it was a water tank that collected the water from the castle and redistributed it all around the city. It was redesigned in 1931 by a French architect, who made the walls to be thinner, making them only 80 cm (31 inches).
