Introduction
Gibbs reflective cycle is a cycle which is a description of a certain event which has happened at an earlier date and you have learned a new thing from that session (Bassot, 2015). As group discussion have been done between six team members on the PESTLE analyses. In the group discussion, all the members have discussed their point of view. In this report opinion of mine on the political factor will be presented in respect of Avon company.
Main Body
Description: As it was the managements decision to have a group discussion session on PESTLE analyses of Avon company. (Vicéns, Zamora and Ojados, 2016). Also management has conducted this session to have some ideas which can help in analyzing the external environment influence in the cited firm. Lots of arguments in favor and against came out from team members on different factor of PESTLE analyses (Franzak, Kim and Fahrenbruck, 2015). As I had to discuss on the political factor and its influence on the business performance. While, studying about the PESTLE analyses I identified that political factor is the major element that influence the entire business performance. If government makes different norms then cited firm will have to modify its operations accordingly.So I learned that if there are favorable changes in the employment law or trade law then it would be beneficial for the entity such as if government makes any changes in the working hours then people will be satisfied they will work better in the workplace. Whereas if authorities decreases wages rate then company will have to reduce salaries of all staff embers then I will be negative towards the firm and other staff members will also dislike the corporation. If government made any restriction in import and export then it would be difficult for the Avon to sell its products in other nations. I analyses that political factor not only influence the company , it impacts on the entire industry.
Feelings: I felt during the session that Avon company can get affected with the political factor. But in this discussion I realized that it impacts positive as well because if firms follow all legislation and worth legally then it can enhance its market reputation. If I talk about the ideas that were discussed from almost team of six members of Avon company, some of the ideas to improve the operations were so amazing that I was so pleased by the response. Apart from ideas I have also presented a short presentation before them to make them understand about the implication of political factor. My feeling was too amazing when I was giving presentation. All team members were giving their views and I learned that how an entity like Avon can face critical situation if government make changes in legislation.
Evaluation: It is another stage of Gibbs cycle (Porntaweekul, Raksasataya and Nethanomsak, 2016). One thing I noticed that Avon is working well and It follows all regulation of the government. But company will have to work on motivating us so that staff members do not resist at the time of any changes.
Analysis: I have been to various group discussions before and all were good but from every session I have learned and gained something in me. From this session I have learned how I can use my mind in adverse situations to come out of the situations. i have figured out the potential and capability they possess is great and their mangers just need to channelize those capabilities.
Conclusion:
While discussing on the political factor and its influence in the Avon, cited firm is doing well and it has to keep its eye on political changes so that it can make strategies for facing the condition. But while conducting the group discussion on PESTLE analyses I found that I have poor presentation skills and I will have to work upon it. But this discussion have given me knowledge about all sic factors of pestle analyses. I analyzed that I have good communication skill and I can interact well with the team members easily. I learned about team working and its effectiveness by this discussion.

Action plan: If I got opportunity in future also to conduct any group discussion then I would be able to present my self more effectively. I will be able to coordinate well with them because I know my lacking points so I will not repeat my mistakes again. But next time I will take support of projector so that conversation would be visual to all team members. I will involve members more in the group discussion so that they can share their views and I would find out the best way how Avon can face the political changes positively. The entire group discussion was very interesting but I learned that I have some lacking pointing and I will have to work on those, so that I can do better and can perform better so that real objective of the group discussion can be fulfilled effectively.
